Alumni eve with professor Johan Woxenius, "Shipping and global supply chains - is there too much sand in the machinery?"



The School of Business, Economics and Law invites our Malmö and Copenhagen region alumni to an evening in Copenhagen, our first ever alumni event in Denmark.

Johan Woxenius is professor of Maritime Transport Management and Logistics. He will talk about global supply chains in turbulent times with repeated disruptions and geopolitical tensions, and connect it to his research on container shipping.

This event will be an opportunity for you to connect and reconnect with other alumni.

PROGRAMME:

17:00-18:00 Social mingle with refreshments (smörrebröd and a glass of prosecco, followed by open bar where you can buy additional drinks)

18:05-18:15 Kajsa Fung, head of alumni relations will give an update on School activities

18:15-18:45 Presentation by Professor Johan Woxenius "Shipping and global supply chains - is there too much sand in the machinery?" 

Q&A session with questions from the participants will follow the presentation

19:00-20:00 Social mingle 

About Johan Woxenius
Johan Woxenius is professor at the Department of Business Administration at our School since 2008. His main research field is maritime transport adressing sustainability, stakeholder interests, production systems, traffic designs, information systems and port city interactions. Johan Woxenius has his PhD from Chalmers and he is presently a part-time guest professor at Lund University.
